4 People In Maharashtra Suffocate to Death While Cleaning Sewage Treatment Plants
While performing cleaning duties inside a sewage treatment plant in Virar, Maharashtra, four laborers suffocated to death.
Shubham Parakar, 28, Amol Ghatale, 27, Nikhil Ghatale, 24, and Sagar Tendulkar, 29, have been identified as the victims.
The four laborers reportedly went into the roughly 25–30 foot-deep sewage treatment plant to clean it, according to representatives of the Arnala Police Station. Regretfully, they were suffocated to death while being cleaned.

Locals informed the police and fire department right away after hearing about the incident. Teams responding quickly raced to the location in an effort to save the laborers.
But it was too late by the time they were recovered from the sewage treatment plant. After being taken to the hospital in a hurry, the attending physicians declared them dead when they arrived.
To determine the precise cause of the tragic incident, the Arnala Police have opened an investigation and filed a case under accidental death.
