Just two days before the country’s national elections are scheduled to start, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav declared on Wednesday that the BJP will be destroyed from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur. With Congressman Rahul Gandhi by his side, Mr. Yadav declared that the “wind from the West” would transform the nation during the first round of elections, despite the BJP’s broken promises.
“We are in Ghaziabad today, and the India alliance will destroy the BJP this time, from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur.” Farmers are angry now because the BJP’s promises were all hollow, Mr. Yadav stated.

Ghaziabad during Voting in Ghazipur, in eastern Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled for June 1, while the western periphery of the state will vote on April 26.
At a joint press conference, he declared that the National Democratic Alliance led by the BJP would be defeated by the Pichde-Dalits-Alpasankhyaks (backward classes, Dalits, and minorities) combination.
“The India Alliance is the election’s new hope.” As Rahul ji stated, his manifesto contains numerous items that have the potential to end poverty. Every political party, particularly the alliance’s partners, claims to offer an MSP guarantee. “Poverty will disappear the moment the Indian government raises farmers’ incomes,” Mr. Yadav declared.
Along with wishing Ram Navami well, Mr. Yadav stated that the BJP has turned into a haven for the corrupt.

In his remarks, Mr. Gandhi also took aim at the BJP, charging that the ruling party and its ideological supporter, the RSS, were attempting to subvert democracy. He brought up the topics of poverty and unemployment as well.
“I do not make seat predictions. I had predicted the BJP would win 180 seats or so about 15 to 20 days ago, but now I think they will get 150. Every state is reporting to us that we are getting better. We will perform very well in Uttar Pradesh because we have a very strong alliance,” Mr. Gandhi declared.
Among the key opposition figures in the INDIA alliance formed in 2023 to oppose the BJP in the current elections is Mr. Yadav. In addition to him and Mr. Gandhi, other signatories to the mega pact are Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Uddhav Thackeray.
