In response to the notification, Dilip Ghosh informed the press that he had previously encountered a similar dispute regarding his comment, “as I speak in the presence of those who are responsible for perpetuating wrongdoing.”.

According to various sources, including members of the party, there have been allegations that I used inappropriate language. If this is indeed the case, I would like to express my regret. I will be providing an official response to the notice that has been issued. This statement was made by the BJP leader.

The Trinamool Congress has reported Dilip Ghosh to the Election Commission of India for supposedly making contentious statements directed at Mamata Banerjee.

According to the TMC, Dilip Ghosh has been accused of violating the Model Code of Conduct due to his use of personal comments.

Speaking to the media in Durgapur, the member of parliament from the BJP stated that no matter where Mamata Banerjee travels, she always refers to herself as the daughter of that particular state. He further added that it is important for her to acknowledge her own father’s identity.

According to Dilip Ghosh, when Didi (CM Mamata Banerjee) visits Goa, she refers to herself as the daughter of Goa. On the other hand, when she travels to Tripura, she claims to be the daughter of Tripura. Ghosh suggests that she should first acknowledge her own father before identifying with other states.

The TMC has requested the ECI take prompt action against Dilip Ghosh, citing the poll code clause that prohibits political parties and candidates from engaging in activities or making statements that attack someone’s personal life or that are offensive to decency and morality.

In a letter addressed to the poll panel, it was stated that Mr. Ghosh’s remarks not only violate the standards of decency but also promote a culture of sexism and a lack of regard for women in positions of authority.

The TMC leaders have strongly rebuked the statements made by the BJP leader. According to TMC leader Kirti Azad, the attitude of BJP leaders is a form of disrespect towards women. This is not the first time the leader has made offensive comments about Maa Durga. Kirti Azad also suggested that he should be taken into custody under the POCSO Act for his remarks about Mamata Banerjee.

In the upcoming elections, Bengal’s Minister Shashi Panja expressed her belief that individuals like Dilip Ghosh, who display petty behavior, should be defeated.
