25th march 2024 : Due to growing speculation that the US Federal Reserve may start cutting interest rates in June and a declining value of the US dollar, which increased the allure of bullion, global gold prices rose on Monday.
According to a Reuters report, spot gold increased by 0.4 percent to $2,172.09 per ounce at 03:50 GMT, while U.S. gold futures increased by 0.6 percent to $2,173.40 per ounce.

On Monday, March 25, 2024, the price of yellow metal in India saw a minor increase while still remaining strong. Gold futures maturing on April 5, 2024, traded at Rs 68,870 per 10 grams for 24 carat (K) on the multi-commodity exchange (MCX), up 0.02 percent as of 11:16 am. While the price of silver is currently up 0.03 percent to Rs 78,810 per kilogram.
