Fans who have been anticipating the show’s release were thrilled to see the first poster released by Prime Video India on Tuesday. Citadel Honey Bunny was the show’s title when it was announced. Prime Video India shared the Citadel: Honey Bunny poster along with a lengthy caption that included information about the upcoming series. “Prime Video has confirmed that the Indian series within the Citadel universe will be called Citadel: Honey Bunny,” the statement said at the outset.
It continued, “Citadel: Honey Bunny boasts an engrossing story that blends the heartwarming charm of a love story with the suspenseful elements of a gritty spy action thriller, all set against the vivid backdrop of the 1990s. The Indian television series in the Citadel universe is called Honey Bunny.”
The title card and a glimpse of Varun and Samantha, who portray spy agents in the show, were featured on the yellow poster. It was seen that both actors were aiming a gun.
The announcement also named the other members of the ensemble, which included Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher, among other Indian actors.
Citadel, a film by the Russo Brothers, debuted only on Prime Video in April of last year. Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, two elite agents in the spy agency Citadel, were portrayed by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, respectively. Many people questioned whether the show was a remake when the Indian version was revealed. She said, “It is not a remake!!” in response to a fan who asked the same question under one of her Instagram posts. There are plans for versions in Spanish, Italian, and Mexican in addition to the Indian spin-off.
