The Ram Janmabhoomi is celebrating Ram Navami with great fanfare for the second time, following the grandiose Pran Pratishtha ceremony. At Ram Mandir, 56 varieties of bhog, prasad, and panjiri are being offered as part of the grand celebration of Ram Navami.

The Chief Priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, stated that the celebration is being organized by the Trust and that Ram Navami is being observed with great fervor. “The trust is in charge of making every arrangement. The decorations are overseen by the trust as well. We will celebrate Ram Navami with a lot of zeal,” he declared.

On the occasion of Shri Ram Navami, there is a Divya Abhisheka of Ram at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.

The Chief Priest went on to say that everything had been decorated and that Lord Ram’s idol had been specially attired for the occasion: “He is bathed with Panchamrit after being dressed in yellow clothes.” In addition to 56 different kinds of offerings made to the Lord, four to five different kinds of panjiris are made.”

Additionally, according to Acharya Satyendra Das, the beauty of Ram Navami lies in seeing the sun’s rays shine on Lord Rama’s forehead. The Ram Mandir’s construction was another reason he praised the day. “Today is a particularly lovely day for Ram Navami, since the sun will be visible on Lord Rama’s forehead… Today there is a fair for Ramnavami; people are going for the darshan of Ramlala, and all the arrangements are being done very divinely in the court of Ramlala. It is very special because the temple has been built and Ramlala’s life has been consecrated in the temple. It is very special.”

In an interview with ANI, prasad maker Shyama Yadav revealed that they have been working on the recipe for ten days. “We have been preparing prasad for nearly a week now. At least fifty quintals of prasad have been prepared, and more are in the process of being made. Additionally, Panjiri is getting ready. And having prepared the prasad for the Ram Mandir makes me feel incredibly fortunate.”

On its official X handle, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, a trust established to oversee the administration of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, shared images of priests performing Ramlalla Sarkar’s Divya Abhisheka at the temple. On this occasion, the trust also shared images of Lord Rama’s Divya Shringar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier wished the festival greetings on his official X handle. “I have the utmost wishes for my family members throughout the nation on this anniversary of Lord Shri Ram’s birth,” the prime minister declared. This auspicious occasion fills my heart with so much fulfillment. With the utmost grace of Shri Ram, I witnessed the Pran-Pratishtha in Ayodhya this year alongside millions of my fellow citizens. That Avadhpuri moment still pulsates with the same intensity in my memory.”

“Our Ram Lalla has taken the throne in the magnificent and hallowed Ram temple of Ayodhya on this first Ram Navami. Ayodhya is experiencing unmatched happiness as it celebrates Rama Navami today. We now have the honor of celebrating Ram Navami in Ayodhya in this way, after having to wait for five centuries. This is the result of many years of arduous penance, national sacrifice, and sacrifice,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

In another tweet, the PM said, “I have full faith that the life of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram and his ideals will become a strong basis for the creation of a developed India. His blessings will provide new energy to the resolve of a self-reliant India. Millions of salutations and salutations at the feet of Lord Shri Ram!”

Wednesday morning saw a throng of devotees descend upon Ram Mandir in a colorful demonstration of their faith and joy. Prior to entering the temple, worshippers bathed in the sacred waters of the Saryu River. At 3:30 am, the temple had begun its darshan.

The celebration will be streamed live on the trust’s social media accounts and on approximately 100 LED screens located throughout the city.
