IPL 2024: Mumbai Traffic Police advises “Travel by public transportation” for the first seven games at Wankhede Stadium on April 1.
IPL 2024: Before the IPL matches at Wankhede Stadium in the city on April 1 and 7, Mumbai Traffic Police has issued an advisory for commuters. Large crowds of spectators are anticipated for the event, according to the police, which could cause traffic congestion. The Mumbai Traffic Police has advised fans to take public transportation to the match because Wankhede Stadium has “no parking facilities.” It stated that on April 1st (Monday) and April 7th (Sunday), there will be no parking available from 12 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Mumbai’s schedule for IPL cricket matches

April 1st, India Premier League match

Rajathan Royals vs. Mumbai Indians, 7:30 p.m.

IPL match on April 7

Delhi Capitals vs. Mumbai Indians, 3:30 p.m.

April 1st and 7th, Mumbai will host the IPL: Know Traffic Advisory

“C” Road north side, as needed, from its intersection with NS Road to its intersection with “E” Road.

“D” Road from where it intersects with NS Road to where it meets “E” Road.

“E” Road from the “D” Road intersection to the “C” Road intersection.

“F” Road from the N S Road intersection to the “E” crossroad intersection.

When necessary, “G” Road will run south from its intersection with N.S. Road to its intersection with “E” Cross Road.

“E” Cross Road runs from the “F” Road intersection to the “G” Road intersection.

N.S. Road from Air India Junction to Mafatlal Bath Signal in both directions.

Vehicle traffic on “D” Road from its intersection with NS Road (Marine Drive) and towards the intersection of “E” & “C” Roads shall be one-way (from West to East).

‘F’ Road shall be One Way (from West to East) for vehicular traffic from its junction of “E” Cross Road towards the junction of N.S. Road (Marine Drive) as and when required.

All forms of vehicular traffic on “E” Road from the intersection of “D” Road towards its intersection with “C” Road shall be one-way (southbound).

IPL 2024: Wankhede Stadium is now more easily accessible

Those with tickets for Wankhede Stadium’s Gates 01, 02, and 07 should disembark at Churchgate station and proceed in the direction of “D” Road.

Those with tickets for Wankhede Stadium’s Gates 04 and 05A should disembark at the Marine Lines station and proceed in the direction of ‘F’ Road.

Those with tickets for Wankhede Stadium’s Gate Number 03 should get off at Churchgate station and head toward the N.S. Road walkway.

Every spectator arriving by way of NS Road (marine drive) must use the walkway rather than the road.

Carpooling spectators must exit at the specified, signposted alighting locations on N S Road.
