The Mumbai Indians were defeated by the Rajasthan Royals by six wickets to win their third consecutive IPL 2024 match. After deciding to bowl first, Rajasthan Royals stopped Mumbai Indians at 125 for nine, requiring just 27 balls to reach the target. Again, Riyan Parag, who is in form, performed admirably as he reached 54 off 39 balls without being out. In their first home game of the season, MI got off to a disastrous start, tottering at 20 for four in the fourth over of the innings. Tilak Varma added 32 off 29 deliveries, and Hardik Pandya answered with a 21-ball 34. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal finished with fantastic figures of 3/11, including the big wicket of Pandya when he was looking good for more runs. Trent Boult bowled extremely well, finishing at 3/22. This was MI’s third straight defeat
