Speaking today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh predicted that the Congress will go extinct in a few years, drawing comparisons between the party’s internal strife and the reality TV programme “Bigg Boss.”
Leaders in the Congress are still leaving in large numbers. “They are leaving the party one by one and joining the BJP,” he declared during a rally in Gauchar, Uttarakhand.
“I worry that the Congress will go extinct like the dinosaur in a few years. In a few years after 2024, if we take the name of the Congress, children will ask, who?” Rajnath Singh added.
He also commented on the infighting in the opposition party.
“They argue with one another every day. The gathering now resembles the set of “Big Boss” on television in certain ways. Every day, they rip each other’s clothes,” Mr. Singh claimed.
The senior BJP leader was in the area to support Anil Baluni, the party’s nominee for the Pauri Lok Sabha seat.
The defense minister claimed that India has become a powerful nation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction. Its voice is clearly heard and given serious consideration in international forums. Added Rajnath Singh.
He asserted that after PM Modi met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and US President Joe Biden to arrange the safe evacuation of 22,500 Indian students who were stranded in Ukraine, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine was put on hold for more than four hours.
According to Rajnath Singh, the world is aware of India’s advancements in recent years.
Additionally, he cited US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti as saying that India should be the destination for the world’s vision of the future.
The majority of our defense hardware is currently produced in India. We used to export defence equipment for a paltry Rs 600 crore back in the day. We have exported defense equipment valued at over Rs 21,000 crore in just seven years. India is no longer a normal nation, the minister of defense declared.
Mr. Singh said that the BJP follows through on its manifestos, characterizing the party as one that does what it says.
“We fulfilled our promise to abolish Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. We carried out our promise to present the Citizenship Amendment Act. We also built the magnificent Ram temple that we had promised to build in Ayodhya back in 1984,” he declared.
Conversely, political parties such as the Congress have been misleading the public with empty words. India would have been a developed nation if they had kept even half of the promises they made in their manifestos, the speaker said.
