In the presence of Union Minister and BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan, a number of BJD leaders and activists joined the BJP.

According to Mr. Pradhan, as people’s confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi grows, more and more leaders and members of other parties are joining the BJP.

“Odisha has shifted toward change, and as a result, members of the BJD and other parties are joining the BJP as public confidence in PM Modi grows.” The local leadership is no longer ‘local,’ so a ‘babu’ is attempting to take control of the house through the backdoor. The Union Minister stated on Saturday that “people are upset with those who have done corruption but did not work to develop the state.”
