The IPL players from Bangladesh have no objections: is it a sign of faith or an opportunity?. Why do the players from Bangladesh not have the same opportunity to play in the Indian Premier League as players from all over the world? Are they so careless that they are a lower-tier T20 team, or do they lack the talent to compete in a league such as the Indian Premier League?
These are the Bangladeshi cricket players you see in the picture, and I believe at least six of them are eligible to play in the IPL.
Shariful Islam: He was a member of the 2020 Bangladesh U-19 World Cup-winning team. He was uneasy when he first started his international career, but over time, he learned how to handle himself. These days, it is hard to picture Bangladesh XI without him. These days, his economical bowling and ball movement leave an impression on the spectator. Even though South Africa’s bowler, Coetzee, who is his age, was able to play for one of the most successful IPL teams, Shariful was not given the same opportunity, even though his team won the World Cup.
Tawheed Hriday: One of Bangladesh’s brightest cricket stars is Tawheed Hriday. His entry into the world of international cricket seemed unreal. He scored 92 runs in an impeccable inning that won everyone over. Like Shariful, he won an under-19 trophy as well. After performing well in cricket for his country, he was called up to play in the Sri Lankan Premier League and did well there as well. He is therefore retained for the forthcoming LPL. Mehdi Hasan Miraj: According to the ODI rankings, Miraj was the second-best bowler a while back. Bangladesh’s success was largely due to his bowling. It is evident that elite cricket players receive good priority in the IPL. But Mirage is not given a chance, despite being at the top for a long time. Because of the BCB’s NOC?
Taskin Ahmed: Several IPL teams have expressed interest in signing him. But BCB did not send a letter of objection. This interest demonstrates his suitability as an IPL contender.
Liton Kumar Das: He was benched from the IPL last year after just one game. Many now claim that he is not performing well right now. I believe that the lack of a NoC and the players’ inability to be available for the duration of the tournament prevent Bangladeshi cricketers from participating in major tournaments like the Indian Premier League. Playing for the national team for an entire year does not provide the same level of experience as participating in the Indian Premier League. Large stars are benched in the Indian Premier League. It is still good even if our players are benched. But we ought to give them an opportunity. See how many people are getting a chance in the IPL instead of focusing on the no-objection letter for the entire season!
