The truth about the state of affairs at Mumbai Indians is no longer a secret. Some fans were left with a bad taste in their mouths when Hardik Pandya replaced Rohit Sharma as the team’s captain. Because of this, Hardik has had to endure jeers and boos from the crowd at every Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 stadium he has played in. There are rumors that Rohit might want to leave MI before the 2025 Indian Premier League season. Though these rumors are still speculative, Lucknow Super Giants appear keen to sign the captain of Team India.

LSG appeared to be toying with the notion of bidding for Rohit Sharma in the IPL 2025 mega auction in a video posted on their YouTube channel.

With a startled expression, Langer uttered, “Rohit Sharma? Hehe. He is coming from Mumbai, we promise. You ought to be the one negotiating, then.”

In the 2011 IPL, Rohit Sharma was signed by the Mumbai Indians for the first time. Throughout his 13-year tenure with the team, Rohit has led MI to five IPL championships as captain. What the Hitman has planned for the future is still unknown. However, it is reasonable to speculate that Rohit’s stay with the Mumbai Indians may end after this season, given that the upcoming season will feature a massive auction.
