Who killed 133 Russians in the Moscow terror attack? Details about the four Tajikistani suspects

Moscow: On Friday, 133 people were killed and over 100 others were severely injured when unknown gunmen opened fire in a concert hall in Moscow. Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, announced on Saturday that four suspects were detained by Russian authorities while they were trying to flee to Ukraine.

An affiliate of the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) in Afghanistan has taken credit for the attack on Crocus City Hall.

This is what we currently know about the assailants and the terror attack in Moscow.

  1. Putin’s speech to Russia, however, omitted any mention of ISIS. Russia’s adversary, Ukraine, has denied any involvement in the attack.
  2. According to US National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson, ISIS is the group responsible for the attack, and there was no involvement from Ukraine.
  3. Eleven people have been detained by the authorities, according to Vladimir Putin.
  4. According to Russian news reports, the gunmen were citizens of Tajikistan, a mostly Muslim former Soviet republic in Central Asia that borders Afghanistan.

5. Putin stated that “no force will be able to sow the poisonous seeds of discord, panic or disunity in our multi-ethnic society,” rejecting the notion of a crackdown on Tajik migrants.

6. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, claimed that Russia was placing the blame on Ukraine and treating its own people like disposables.

7. “They rape and torture our people, then they put the blame on them. They do not care what occurs within their own nation, and they brought hundreds of thousands of their terrorists here to fight us on Ukrainian soil “, the speaker said.

8. One survivor of the assault claimed that the gunmen were firing straight into the front row of the crowd.

9. In a statement released on Saturday, ISIS claimed that four men carrying automatic rifles, a pistol, knives, and firebombs carried out the attack. It claimed that the attackers killed some concertgoers with knives and fired shots into the crowd.

10. Four bloodied men with Russian accents were being questioned by security services, as depicted in Russian media.

12. The gunmen lit the concert hall on fire, according to the investigators, using a flammable liquid.

13. Camouflage outfits were on the attackers. When police in the Bryansk area spotted them driving a Renault after the shooting, they fled. They stopped the car after pursuing it.

14. TV Editor Simonyan played a video in which one of the men tells the forces by the side of the road that he arrived in Turkey on March 4 and that he got orders via Telegram to carry out the attack in exchange for cash from unidentified persons.
