Reviews of Kunal Kemmu’s Madgaon Express, his directorial debut, have been positive. With Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi, and Divyenndu in the key parts, this comedy film is a hit with both reviewers and viewers. The director has now explained why he gave the movie the name Madgaon Express in an interview. “I wanted to call it Madgaon Express because I like the whole idea,” the actor-director remarked. I intended for the movie’s climax to take place aboard a train. I had no idea how I would pull it off, but I really wanted to maintain the train as a central character in the movie. That was simply the main concept. When I finally got around to writing it, the most crucial thing was to figure out who these three friends were, what their friendship was all about, and how they returned and continued where they had left off.”
Kunal Kemmu also posted a note of gratitude a few days ago, acknowledging all the love that is being showered upon him. The film alternates fluidly and endlessly between sparkling silver-tongued wit and slapstick, making it deliriously funny.
